Community Events Submissions

Are you or your organization hosting an event or experience you want to spread the word about?

 

Submit your event for consideration! Please fill out the event submission form below after reading the event criteria.

 

In the October 2024 issue, we will be including a calender of events covering November 2024 to the end of April 2025.

 

Before submitting your event, please be sure to read and understand the Event Submission Criteria included below.

 

Submissions are due by September 13th at 5:00 PM.

We are seeking Community Event submissions for inclusion in our upcoming Halton Hills Now magazine.

Event Submission Criteria

  1. Events must serve the Halton Hills community and be open to all members of the public.
  2. Events must take place within Halton Hills. Events which take place outside of Halton Hills will only be included if the event is a Halton Hills initiative OR is supported by the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce.
  3. Events may not conflict with the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce's values, vision, or strategic goals, and will not negatively affect the identity or reputation of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce.
  4. Events may not be solely commercial in nature unless they are sanctioned or approved by the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce.
  5. Events may not be considered illicit or inappropriate, and may not manifest hate or obscene content of any kind.
  6. Events must have a fixed length or date/time. Year-round or seasonal attractions will not be considered.
  7. Events may not be a club-only or membership type event.
  8. Events may be ticketed or free, but the price of any tickets must be included in the event submission.
  9. Events must comply with all municipal, provincial, and federal legislation.
  10. Events may be fundraising in nature, but listing must include the cause for fundraising or recipient of funds raised at the event.
  11. The Halton Hills Chamber reserves the right to include or exclude events at their discretion.
